Goodbye Paper Registers: Tap to Sign In with CigyID Visitor Entries

Every front desk has it: a battered notebook of half-legible names, mystery phone numbers and ‘purpose of visit’ entries scribbled in five different pens. The Visitor Entry register on CigyID retires that book — without forcing anyone to download an app.

Switch it on per tag

Org admins enable Visitor Entry on any Business-Premium tag from the Issuer admin Tags tab. From that moment, the public profile shows a ‘Visitor Entry’ button. Guests tap, fill a short form — name, phone, email, purpose, optional company and party size — and see a green ‘Visitor entry registered ✓’ confirmation.

Built around an honest data contract

Visitor data is sensitive, so CigyID does the responsible thing automatically. On the last day of every month, the tag owner receives a CSV of their previous month's entries by email, with a clear notice: ‘These entries will be permanently deleted from CigyID on the 7th of next month. Please keep this file safe.’ On the 7th, a scheduled job wipes the prior month's data from our systems.
