By creating a CigyID account, claiming a tag, buying a keyring, or using any part of the CigyID service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use CigyID.

CigyID — short for "Can I Get Your ID?" — is a digital identity platform built around Smart Connect Keychains. A CigyID is a sharable profile reachable by NFC tap or QR scan. Beyond the contact card, CigyID also includes a Career suite (career timeline, real-salary analytics, AI resume builder, AI assessments, granular Background Verification), Lead Management CRM, an opt-in Employer Search, and an AI Business Card Scanner. We offer three keyring tiers:

• Free — QR-only keyring + the lifetime-free CigyID Free plan.
• Style — same look, with NFC + QR + the Style plan features.
• Premium — same look, with NFC + QR + the Premium plan (encrypted document wallet, advanced analytics and more).

All three keyrings look identical on the outside — the difference is what's inside the tag and the plan it unlocks. The Career suite is included on every plan.

You must be at least 13 years old to use CigyID, and you must be legally able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you're using CigyID on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you're authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

• You can sign up with email or Google. One person per account, one set of credentials.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials, Privacy PIN, and Wallet password safe.
• For your security, sessions automatically end after 10 minutes of inactivity, and signing out immediately clears local state.
• Tell us right away at request@cigyid.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

• You own the content you upload to your CigyID profile — name, photos, documents, links, everything.
• You grant CigyID a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display that content on your public profile and tag link, solely so the service can work as intended.
• Updating your CigyID once updates every tag pointing to it instantly — no reprints, no replacements.
• You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload (photos, logos, documents) and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
• Career history, salary entries, certificates and BGV documents are owned by you and processed only as you direct. Submitting falsified or fraudulent BGV documents — or fabricating career or salary history — is a serious breach of these terms and may result in immediate termination and reporting to relevant authorities.

You agree not to use CigyID to:

• Post anything illegal, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights.
• Impersonate another person, brand or organisation.
• Upload sexually explicit material, or any content involving minors in a sexual context.
• Send spam, scams, phishing, malware or links to harmful sites through your profile, shareback flow, or Lead Management actions.
• Falsify career history, salary entries, certifications, assessment responses or BGV documents — these are treated as serious violations and may result in immediate account termination.
• Tamper with assessment integrity (e.g. sharing answer keys, automated answering, third-party impersonation while taking a test).
• Scrape, harvest, mass-download or programmatically extract data from CigyID, Employer Search, or other users' profiles.
• Attempt to bypass Privacy PINs, Wallet passwords, brute-force lockouts, encryption or any other security control belonging to another user.
• Probe, attack, or interfere with the service, our infrastructure, or other users.
• Resell, sublicence or commercially redistribute CigyID tags without a written issuer agreement with us.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice.

CigyID's AI features (Resume Builder, Assessment grading, Business Card Scanner, Career extraction) are tools — not authoritative authors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before sharing it on your profile, sending it to a recruiter, or using it in any decision. CigyID does not warrant the accuracy of model output and is not liable for actions taken on the basis of AI-generated text.

Background Verification on CigyID represents a best-effort check against documents and information you submit. Verification status reflects the verifier's assessment at a point in time and does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement of any kind. Verifications can be re-opened if new evidence becomes available.

Employer Search is strictly opt-in. By enabling it, you authorise CigyID to surface the public fields of your profile to employers using the search tool. You can disable Employer Search at any time from your dashboard; visibility is removed within minutes.

• Free plan — genuinely free for life, subject to fair-use. We may apply reasonable limits to prevent abuse.
• Style & Premium plans — billed at the prices and cycle shown when you upgrade. Taxes (where applicable) are added at checkout. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid cycle, after which the account moves back to Free.
• Physical keyrings are produced and shipped by our partner store (baronias.com). Shipping timelines, returns and refunds for physical goods are governed by that store's policy. The CigyID account and digital plan attached to your tag are governed by these terms.
• Issuers / Business accounts are invoiced monthly based on the number of active tags during the billing period, as described in the Issuer agreement.
• Career suite (timeline, salary analytics, AI Resume, AI Assessments, BGV) is included on every plan. Lead Management CRM and Common Flyer Folderare part of Business Strength and Business Resilience plans.
• Prices and features may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a paid period you've already started.

If you lose your keyring, sign in to your dashboard and toggle the tag as lost — your public profile is disabled instantly across every device. You can issue a replacement tag without losing your profile, contacts or analytics.

Until you mark a tag as lost, anyone in physical possession of it can open your public profile. CigyID is not liable for any consequences of misuse occurring before a tag is marked as lost.

The CigyID name, logo, brand, software, design system and underlying platform are owned by CigyID and protected by applicable IP laws. These terms don't grant you any right to use our trademarks except as needed to use the service normally. Your content remains yours; our platform remains ours.

CigyID profiles can link to social platforms, UPI providers, payment gateways, and other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or behaviour.

• You can delete your account or unlink any tag from your dashboard at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create legal or safety risks for us or other users.
• Deleted or unlinked items are kept as encrypted JSON snapshots for up to 90 days to allow recovery, then permanently purged — see the Privacy Policy for details.

CigyID is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep the service reliable, secure and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific feature will always be available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CigyID and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of CigyID.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to CigyID in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹1,000 for users on the Free plan.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CigyID, its team and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (i) your use of the service, (ii) content you upload, or (iii) your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of CigyID after a change means you accept the revised terms. If you don't agree with a change, please stop using the service and contact us to close your account.
