Drop a Pin: The New Location Quick Action on Every CigyID
Add a Google Maps link to your profile and visitors are one tap away from turn-by-turn directions — included in vCard exports too.
‘Where exactly are you?’ is still the most-asked question in every WhatsApp business chat. With the new Location quick action, your CigyID answers it before anyone has to ask.
How it works
- Open your profile editor and find the new Location field in Contact Details.
- Paste any Google / Apple Maps link — short links (maps.app.goo.gl) work perfectly.
- A pin icon appears in your profile's quick actions row, right next to Call, WhatsApp and UPI.
- Visitors tap it once — their default maps app opens with turn-by-turn directions ready to go.
Built into vCard exports
When someone taps ‘Save Contact’, the location URL is embedded into the downloaded .vcf as a labelled URL field. Their iPhone or Android contact card now carries your map pin forever — no follow-up message needed.
